MBA 616: Information Systems Strategy and Management

This 7-week course is a core class for the online MBA program at St. Cloud State University. The class focuses on topics related to technology and information systems and how they can be used in business to make smarter decisions.

Throughout the course, we completed five projects using tools such as Tableau, Simile, Excel, and IBM SPSS Modeler. Below are some of the projects I enjoyed.

Tableau was my favorite software we used during this course. I use Tableau daily in my professional career so it was fun to use the platform in ways that I had never done before.
Project 3: Excel Solver
Excel Solver allows users to forecast data by entering in your variables and constraints.
Project 5: IBM SPSS Modeler
SPSS Modeler from IBM offers statistical analysis for large data. In our class we analyzed the data in association analysis, cluster analysis, and classification analysis.
